About 花見はなみ

花見はなみ is an event to appreciate the beauty of さくら (cherry blossoms) in springtime. For 花見はなみ , people gather at various locations to see the spectacle of さくら in bloom and have picnics under the さくら trees. During the さくら season, there are often さくら festivals to provide an even more festive atmosphere.

Activity 1: Let’s have a 花見はなみ picnic!

Step 1: Make a chigiri-e 花見はなみ invitation card

On the front cover, you can use origami to create さくら. Draw the tree trunk first and then tear bits of origami and glue them on the tree trunk to represent flowers. Inside the card, put information, such as 〇〇さんへ、ばしょ、じかん etc.
